The Solitary Symphony: Exploring the Complexities of One-Sided Love

 Love, what is this four-letter word how can we describe this emotion is itself in it a big question, the title says one sided love and complexities in the same sentence and when we say complexities we say about the pros and cons of being in one sided love and how to deal with it but why can’t we be in love and forget about its pros and cons and just go through it without being bothered about the existence of the complexities but human mind is not setup to function like this, We kind of try to find complexities in each and every little detail of the life which is funny part of our brain and then we get anxious over that complexity of the life and question ourself that do we really deserve this love?” . This emotion is very simple to understand but we kind of make it complex in our mind and then we get anxious over that feeling. One sided love makes us the most vulnerable to this feeling of complexity about our own self “do I look enough good to get his/her love?”, “Am I even capable enough to love?” and these questions increases further by about the whole existence because we are delving into the complexity more than to the real emotion.

Love is not easy whether it’s both side or one side you love the person with every flaw of them, you kind of surrender yourself to that person which many of us find overrated cause how can you surrender yourself to some other human being. Us humans are not perfect but when you are in love you find that person to be perfect which equals to that person being similar to GOD which is an interesting factor of us humans, we are afraid of being called perfect but we are finding other person perfect, we get irritated if we are compare to our GOD but we believe that the other person is equal to our GOD , this is what emotion does to the mind loses the ability to rationalize.

One sided love is beautiful as well as dangerous, many believe it a myth; many believe it a complete lie and don’t accept it, but many believe it as a complete relationship that they are in which is again nurturing the emotion and about its complexities, one sided love or you can say unrequited love gives you a new perspective to see the world and that person. You can see that person with a new spectrum whether noticing little too little details about that person respectively but that one inch of emotion which gives you an ick to the core of your heart is that the person will never understand the depth of the complexities you have in your mind because of that emotion for that very particular person.

Now is that person culprit? for the burden of the unrequited emotion because if we think that the person is culprit then we can say, Love is a very selfish emotion you love that person because ‘you’ love not the vice versa

                             To be but just one moment

                             Near your heart?

these are lines from Ivan Turgenev which was also used in the book “White Night” By Fyodor Dostoyevsky. These lines kind of give you hope to cling on to that love which was never your love to begin with.
